Larimer Square Clock

IMG_8872, originally uploaded by thrivestyle.

One of my other loves besides old buildings is clocks. I photograph them where ever I go. This clock is at Larimer Square in the LODO (lower downtown) neighborhood of Denver. Its a cool area with lots of great shops and restaurants and of course my favorite old buildings mixing with new.

Wow, the quality of this photo just blows my socks off! It's nice to know you love to photograph clocks. Here in Seattle there are many historic clocks, and someone has made a brochure so that visitors can see them all. You can check it out in the Clock Walk website http://www.zombiezodiac.com/rob/ped/clock/map.htm I'm sure if you haven't done this in Seattle yet that these would interest you. My favorite

is in front of a jewelry store that is ove 100 years old and has just announced it is going to close, so people are wondering what will happen to the clock.

Larimer Square is a fun place to spend time. No pun intended, by the way. -:)
